Café Fixed closed within the fall of 2021 and can is scheduled to reopen as Café Lignac (from chef Cyril Lignac) in November 2021.
Beforehand: Given chef Christian Fixed’s roots within the French southwest, it’s no shock that hearty dishes like cassoulet and duck confit are sometimes on the menu at his eponymous restaurant. These decisions are nestled amongst basic Parisian bistro choices like roast rooster, slow-cooked beef daube, or among the greatest leeks with French dressing in Paris. The easy, cheap fare makes Café Fixed the right spot to cease by pre- or post-Eiffel Tower go to, and the continuous opening hours (from 8am) imply that these trying to eat between the 2pm closure and 7pm opening of most Parisian eating places are in luck (now closed)
