Asparagus & Avocado Salad · Thyme for Cooking

The theme for Monday posts in April is Asparagus.

It’s asparagus season and we eat a number of it for the 5 or 6 weeks it’s obtainable.

We eat inexperienced, purple, purple-tipped white, and large, fats white. We find it irresistible all.

Nevertheless, the several types of asparagus are cooked otherwise. In the event you attempt to prepare dinner fats white asparagus like fats inexperienced asparagus you’ll be dissatisfied.

I’ve achieved a primer right here on Asparagus. It’s after the recipe.

It’s not tomato season, however I admit to a weak spot…. Cherry tomatoes begin showing within the markets early and I can’t resist them.

My chives are all up and having fun with the spring – and I’m having fun with them.
