Bonjour!
I hope that you just and yours are properly.
This text is coming to you from the south of France, the attractive Gulf of Saint-Tropez the place I’ve simply arrived after visiting Menton and the unimaginable lemon pageant – a completely distinctive occasion – be a part of me on Instagram the place I’m sharing movies and photographs as I’m going – and be at liberty to ask me questions on what to see and do whereas I’m right here!).
In the meantime a large milestone is looming for me. Throughout the Pandemic years once we weren’t capable of journey freely, I finished producing The Good Life France journal. Then in March 2022 as all of us tried to get again to some normality and journey opened up once more, I relaunched the journal, and I made a decision to enhance it – however nonetheless maintain it free. It’s now hosted on a superfast platform so it’s straightforward to learn. The design is right down to a beautiful artist known as Philippa French (coincidence!). And a number of the highest journey writers on the planet write articles for it.
I journey far and huge in France, looking for out the very best locations, the key locations, the hidden gems, essentially the most scrumptious eating places and cosy bars and far, rather more to share with you.
And that milestone? The Good Life France Journal is nearly to achieve 25 million readers since March 2022! An enormous, huge, large thanks a lot to everybody who has learn and shared the journal – you’re a huge a part of what has made this such an astonishing success story. Whoever would have thought an ex-office employee from London who dreamed of journey and writing, would at some point transfer to the center of nowhere, France (lengthy story – 3 books lengthy, particulars under!), begin a weblog after which {a magazine} and have her goals come true. Not me, that’s for certain, I’ve to pinch myself every day!
I thanks from the underside of my coronary heart for being part of my life-changing journey. And my 4 canines, 7 cats, chickens, geese and geese and occasional house-guest hedgehogs and wild birds thanks too!
Subsequent week I’m going to go to the world-famous culinary and patisserie faculties of one of many world’s high cooks – Alain Ducasse. The faculties are based mostly in Paris and Yssingeaux within the south of France, and I’m hoping to choose up some tips on what it takes to turn out to be a severely good cake maker to share with you (and naturally to eat a number of the scrumptious muffins). After which I’ll head to Lyon – the French capital of gastronomy (and residential city of my podcast accomplice Olivier – you’ll be able to discover all our podcasts right here). And naturally I’ll be sharing this mouth-watering journey with you on Instagram – if solely I might share the muffins too, I might you understand!
Wishing you a really bon week-end and bisous from a cake monster in France!
