Pork & Chickpea Stew
As a result of I used pork tenderloin this stew doesn’t require lengthy cooking – so I made it in a skillet somewhat than a pot.

- 1/2 cup (4oz, 120gr) white wine
- 1/2 cup (4oz, 240gr) hen broth (affiliate hyperlink)
- 1 tbs tomato paste
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 tbs maizena dissolved in 2 tbs water
- Warmth oil in massive skillet over medium warmth.
- Add pork slices and evenly brown on each side, about 6 minutes whole.
- Take away to a plate.
- Add cumin, paprika, onion, carrots, and sauté 5 minutes.
- Add garlic, ginger and sauté 1 minute longer.
- Add thyme, wine, broth, tomato paste and convey to a boil.
- Cowl, scale back warmth and simmer 5 minutes.
- Add potatoes, and simmer 10 minutes.
- Return pork to skillet, together with chickpeas, and simmer 10 minutes longer, till greens are tender.
- Uncover, improve warmth and add cornstarch combination, stirring till sauce is thickened.
- Serve.
Notes
Test that greens are carried out by piercing with a knife. If not, simmer 5 – 10 minutes longer. Time will depend upon thickness.
