After nearly a decade of organising the ‘Italian Week’, the city corridor of the thirteenth arrondissement – not too removed from our accommodations – has now changed it with Le Competition Italien à Paris (The Paris Italian Competition), two weeks of occasions together with an exhibition round Marcello Mastroianni, a convention about Pasolini, a jazz live performance and movie showings.
And all of the occasions are free!
The principle occasion of the pageant is the exhibition Marcello Mastroianni – Yesterday, Immediately, Ceaselessly which runs till thirtieth October within the Athena Gallery and Antichambre of the thirteenth arrondissement’s city corridor.
This presents the life and profession of the well-known Italian actor, exhibiting his class and trademark sense of humour.
One other excessive level of the pageant (albeit in French) is the convention Pasolini, 50 years later, on seventeenth Octobre 2025 at 7pm. It’s truly extra of a night of music, introduced by a sure René de Ceccatty, with singing by Antonio Interlandi and Wilfred Touati taking part in the accordion 😳
