Lovers of pure wine and plant-driven small plates positively bursting with taste have discovered their residence at Petit Navire – a tiny, nautically-themed restaurant close to the Parc de Belleville. This restaurant serves a panoply of internationally-inspired dishes that skew Mediterranean: Assume accras with turmeric yogurt, zucchini “meatballs” with recent herbs and lemon, or slow-cooked lamb with Paimpol beans. Roasted eggplant is a frequent flier, due to mastery of the nightshade by Canadian Chef Lily Hu (ex-Ellsworth); regardless of its topping – herb-infused tahini and pomegranate or smoked eggplant purée and harissa – it without end emerges without delay charred and tender. Cheese followers will love sinking their tooth into beneficiant parts of Brillat-Savarin, paired with a candy facet of cherry compote or barely bitter carob honey and plentiful house-made pita standing in for extra conventional baguette or sourdough. Dinnertime small plates (way more copious than most) clock in at between 7 and 16 euros, however there’s a 22 euro lunch menu to navigate, too. Really useful for Nice Vegetarian Meals in Paris.
